At BellaBellFarm, we’re inspired by the meaning of our name—“full of variety, unlike the ordinary” in Jeju dialect. Our mission is to grow and share food that reflects this spirit: honest, nourishing, and rooted in harmony with nature. From sea to soil, we work slowly and thoughtfully, honoring the land, the animals, and the people who make it all possible.

The Story of BellaBellFarm

BellaBellFarm, a growing pet startup, was born on Jeju Island out of a deep love for animals.

Its founder, an animal rights activist, spent years rescuing animals and came to believe that true health starts with prevention.

When caring for Bong Bong, a terminally ill rescue cat, she turned to nature for answers and discovered Sasa quelpaertensis, a healing bamboo native to Mt. Halla.

That journey led to FromHalla, BellaBellFarm’s first brand, rooted in clean, naturally derived ingredients and a mission of holistic, compassionate care.

In the rugged highlands of Hallasan Mountain on Jeju Island, sasa bamboo grows strong as it endures harsh winds and cold. It stands as a symbol of resilience and vitality. BellaBellFarm is the first to apply this native Jeju ingredient to promote the health and well-being of companion animals.

We believe in prevention. Rather than relying on chemical intervention after illness, we aim to support health in advance through the strength of natural ingredients. This is the core belief of BellaBellFarm.

Sasa bamboo has been shown to activate AMPK enzymes, which support fat metabolism and help prevent conditions such as cancer and diabetes. It also provides anti-inflammatory, soothing, and moisturizing benefits, making it especially helpful for indoor pets with skin sensitivities.
